InterLogic Publishers is busy working on its new book, Belize Facts and Figures. We are getting highly relevant artwork done for this book. Our first artist featured is Mr. Orlando Nah from Roaring Creek village. Orlando who is from Hispanic and Yucatec Maya ancenstry has been painting since his early 20s in his village. He has been featured in the old Belize Today magazine and has worked on artwork for Belizean writer Mr. Colin Hyde. Orlando is a self educated painter but has benefitted from the training that his friend Lincoln Garbutt received in Mexico.
Mr. Orlando Nah creator of the terrestrial ecosystems piece for Belize Facts and Figures
Orlando is currently working on a painting of the terrestrial ecosystems of Belize. This painting shows how the mangroves, savannas, lowland forest, pine forests, upland forests and upland savannas “blend” into each other in Belize. The painting is still a work in progress but InterLogic Publishers is very excited to show it to the country.
